How an air purifier fits in the 21st century

The current pandemic confirms the predictions of Bill Gates, who warned the public in 2015 that a deadly disease scenario could happen worldwide. It would be wishful thinking to hope that worldwide pandemics will end with available vaccination. It is most likely to take many months or even years before the COVID vaccine is successfully distributed to the entire world. According to WHO, this is the only way to truly stop the epidemic.
The most effective defence against COVID is prevention. High-quality air purifiers are necessary, together with all the other well-known practises such as maintaining 6 feet distance from other people, washing one’s hands regularly, using respirators and sanitising surfaces. It is essential to recognise that the right technology is used in an air purifier.
Air Purifiers are recommended as a preventative measure by state institutions such as the American Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)

Introducing NanoAirCleaner

Introducing NanoAirCleaner

NanoAirCleaner is a Czech-based technological start-up company bringing to the market a novel way of cleaning air that comes from Czech nanotechnology and photocatalysis know-how. The embedded video presents its core advantages, product portfolio and case studies including commentary from researchers in the field.

Why use a NanoAirCleaner air purifier?

01.

Confirmed effectiveness AGAINST VIRUSES

The virucidal function of our coating was successfully tested at Czech medical institutes. The report is available upon request.

02.

ERADICATING (not just capturing) impurities even in the presence of people

Most air cleaners capture impurities with physical filters, which means high maintenance costs. Without frequent replacement of the filters, there is a high chance that the filters will become a habitat for microorganisms, which leads to health concerns. NanoAirCleaner breaks down impurities into non-toxic oxides that ensure that nothing accumulates inside the device. Unlike the use of UVC, the UVA light used in our devices is compatible with the presence of people. The technology can decrease the risk of aerosol contamination.

03.

Zero MAINTANENCE, zero running COSTS, endless LONGEVITY

No filters and the breakdown of impurities via photocatalysis has other advantages, namely low running costs, low maintenance costs and very long longevity of the devices. NanoAirCleaner, unlike many other products destroys impurities on a molecular level and the end product is only CO2 and H2O in the form of vapour with no by-products.

Viruses, Allergens + Pollen, Dust, Exhaust, Fungus + Mold, Microbes, Mites, Smells + Smoke, and more.

Where can you use our air purifiers?

NanoAirCleaner air purifiers are compatible with the presence of people, and it is not necessary to ventilate the room. Thanks to this, our products help to prevent illness in places that are heavily populated. This could be any space, from offices to waiting rooms and restaurants to retail shops. Our products can also be used to protect people with additional health problems as well as elderly people with higher potential health risks. Furthermore, our products find a place in households.

Public spaces
Offices, waiting rooms, restaurants, retail shops, educational centres, entertainment industry, sport centres, concert halls, theatres and cinemas.

Protection of communities with higher health risks
Households, medical centres, waiting rooms, GP offices, retirement and care homes.

Lowers the risks at home
In every room of your home.

How do our air purifiers work?

How do our air purifiers work?

The NanoAirCleaner air purifier doesn’t work as a physical filter that captures and stores impurities, like all other non-photocatalytic air purifiers. Rather, our product breaks down the pollutants into basic non-toxic chemical substances via the photocatalytic process.

How do our air purifiers work?

The air entering our air purifier is first stripped of large particles (i.e. hair) in a special filter. Afterwards it travels into the main chamber where the combination of UVA light and the catalyst drives the cleaning process.

Certificates

Marketing announcements by manufacturers of air purifiers should be double-checked, as often there is no proof of quality. Therefore, we offer these independent tests confirming our statements here:

Confirmed effectiveness – viruses
The Centre for Epidemiology and Microbiology confirmed the effectiveness of our TiO2 coating on metal panels in killing viruses. The coating was irradiated with LED UVA light sources. The test revealed antiviral function. The reports are available on request.

Confirmed effectiveness – bacteria, yeast and moulds
Effectiveness against microorganisms, namely yeast, moulds and bacteria was tested at the Institute of Clinical Microbiology in Hradec Kralove. The results showed a 71% decrease of yeast and moulds and a 66% decrease of concentration of bacteria after NanoAirCleaner had been working for 3 hours.
More information about this testing is found here.

Confirmed effectiveness – carcinogenic VOC
When tested in a Belgium-based institute that specialises in photocatalytic testing, it was confirmed that NanoAirCleaner successfully removed carcinogenic substances like formaldehyde and toluene at an unprecedented rate.
More information about this testing is found here.

NanoAirCleaner air purifiers were developed in collaboration with the Technical University in Liberec, the University of Chemical Technology in Prague and other institutes in the Czech Republic. The principal function is patented.
We also collaborate with and have membership in societies such as the Czech Society for Applied Photocatalysis.
